On Dec 02, am , by Gamer Loading I've been playing Monster Hunter:World on Xbox One since a week after launch and never had any major problems, at least until a few months ago around when Behemoth was released was when I began to have connection issues. Although I have fast internet, I keep getting disconnected from any game I join despite having really low ping in both Monster Hunter and many other games, and for some reason I even get disconnected from private sessions that I created.
Every disconnect, it's always the same message, "Connection to the session has been lost. Error Code MW1. For example: I'll be half way into a hunt, and then suddenly I get disconnected. After that, my previous team has one less hunter, and I'm stuck fighting a monster that has multiplayer health, and if it's something like Behemoth or an Arch Tempered Monster, I am usually forced to abandon the quest as I have no way of killing the monster in time.
What makes this annoying is that the disconnects happen at random and is out of my control. What's worse is that I can't find a clear answer to what the error code means and I also can't find any forums or videos about how to solve this issue that actually work. I have tried everything to fix this issue; from simply restarting the console; going from a wireless connection to a wired one, and vise-versa; resetting my MAC Address; uninstalling and reinstalling Monster Hunter: World and retrieving my cloud save data; using different routers to see if there was any problems there; and even resorting to factory resetting my console and repeating the previous steps and STILL no dice.
If anyone else is experiencing this same or similar issue, I'd like you to comment your experience to see if there are any similarities between person to person, and if you have found a way to resolve this issue, PLEASE explain how you did so, it would be a great help to I and many others!
